Blackie spent his entire life chained up in a backyard and when he grew old, his family surrendered him to the city pound.

After 11 years of guarding their property, he was discarded as an object no longer needed.

Life circumstances can sometimes force a family to surrender their dog. But this was not the case with Blackie. His family simply didn’t want to keep him anymore.
